Jacob B. Shuman, of the Erma section of Lower Township, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 30, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland.
This investigation stemmed from a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTip that revealed an unidentified subject possessed and distributed various images of Child Sexual Abuse Material through his personal accounts.
The investigation was concluded as a result of the execution of a Court-authorized search warrant on Shuman’s residence, Sutherland said.
At the time of the search, several items of evidentiary value were seized from the residence and are pending analysis, the prosecutor said.
